Alan Williams

As you may or may not know, I have been stumbling and tripping on stages for over 15 years. My life as a musician all started when I was a young kid and heard Aerosmith's album titled, "Rocks". Once I heard this album, I knew I had to play. My parents bought me my first guitar when I was fourteen years old. I soon realized that everybody I knew was playing guitar and not bass, so I figured if I played bass I would always be in demand. I learned to play from listening to bands on the radio like Aerosmith, KISS, The Who, and Joe Walsh, to name just few musical influences. Shortly thereafter, I started playing in rock bands in high school and haven't stopped since. I've played in numerous bands over the years. Two local bands I played in were No Vacancy and Broken Ties. These bands were both favorites with the locals. Many years have passed, and here I am as a founding member of CounterBalance. Bands may come and go, but you can count on me to always be found knocking over cymbal stands, unplugging monitors, and falling off stages. If you're in the battlezone BEWARE you just might meet me in person without having to introduce yourself! Thanks for all of your enthusiasm and support at our shows. As a poet once said, "The light at the end of the tunnel just might be you."
