I've been playing drums for about 20 years now (still under the age of 35). It all started one day while smashing coconuts with a baseball bat, I also figured "hell of a way to get girls", and it beat the hell out of dressing up like "super-chicken" or something. While playing in a band called "Friction", I met Alan (don't call me AL!) who played for a band called "No Vacancy" (ooh, rivalry). I left "Friction" and began playing in a band called "Flanelhed", which by the way, was one of the best things created since the invention of the double toaster! After a few years of heavy giging, recording, hunting field mice with salad tongs for sport, and being denied that record deal, I decided to pack it in for awhile and take a breather. 2 years later, I'm playing top 40, (on the verge of going lounge), when here comes Alan (don't call me AL!) asking me to come on in and join CounterBalance and get back to rockin'.... so with Bonham chops in hand (and the ability to drink without dying?) and my ongoing admiration for Peter Criss (you are my mentor!), I am back, and having fun!!!... and I'll tell ya, it beats the hell out of dressing up like a chicken!!!
