Mark Oleson

Hey kids! Let me tells you a brief little history of myself. Born in the mid-sixties to a conservative family I too was conservative until my daddy bought me my first trumpet way back in 1974. I played the trumpet all through high school leaving behind a legacy of unsuccessful disco and jazz bands. However, somewhere during my hazy high school career, I took up singing. To tell you the truth, I don't remember when or how it happened, it just did. Anyway, I've played in a lot of bands throughout the years ranging from heavy metal (Ice, Crimson Steele, Bratt), jazz (The Hubcaps), rock & roll (The Lubricants), to just plain weird, but fun stuff (The Angry Mimes).
And now, with Alan's promises of fast money, lots of free beer and inflatable women, I am a happy newcomer to CounterBalance. I hope to bring a lot of fun stuff to this band, and I hope to see y'all soon.
